About those rumors...
about the SSPX's General Chapter

Swearing secrecy about the General Chapter proceedings

This photograph taken on July 9, 2012, in the chapel of the seminary in Econe shows one of the members of the General Chapter swearing on the Gospel book to observe the secrecy required by Canon Law, according to the constant practice of the Church.

All the alleged revelations concerning the contents of the declaration of the General Chapter of the Society of St. Pius X that can be read here or there on the Internet are the sole responsibility of their publicity-hungry authors. The communiqué of the General House dated July 14, 2012, clearly announces that this declaration will be delivered first to Rome before being made public. That is the normal order, and no exceptions will be made to satisfy the need for self-proclaimed sensational leaks.

Good does not make a lot of noise. Conversely, evil does not hesitate to circulate unfounded reports and anonymous rumors so as to divide, oppose, and cause trouble. We recognize it by its fruits.
