On Sunday, May 5th, in the front pew at St. Jude’s, with our pastor Fr. Jordan Fahnestock, knelt four little children, all clad in white. They were all trying so hard not to look at the camera pointed in their direction, but gave in once or twice to a quick, nervous smile.

This day they were to receive Jesus for the first time! After they had each received Our Lord, they returned to their pews, eyes cast down, to visit with Him.

After the May Procession, each of the four First Communicants placed a crown of flowers upon the Queen of Heaven and Earth, as she smiled radiantly down at them.
